From November 2024 to April 2025, design researcher Pragya Prajapati undertook a six-month field project — supported by the Good Earth Heritage Foundation — to document and archive the story of Bela block printing through the eyes and hands of Mansukh Bhai. Her work involved capturing the significance of each motif, mapping old blocks, interviewing village elders, and unearthing forgotten memories woven into the fabric of the community.
