Description: These charcoal-hued, flat-front pants are crafted for texture with cotton slub. They have an all-over floral Ajrakh print, made of a subtle sprinkling of indigo and madder. The pants are lined in dyed-to-match mul. Pockets on both sides have traditional Ajrakh printed triangular motifs; the traditional waist band has belt loops.
Design: Inspired by the ancient civilisations nurtured by the Sindhu (Indus) river, this collection features the colours and silhouettes of the region as well as hand-block printed separates with the traditional Ajrakh technique.
Craft: Ajrakh is one of the oldest forms of block-printing in the world. It uses resist-dyeing with natural colourants and the process has remained unchanged for over 5,000 years.
Material: Cotton slub
This item is handcrafted using Ajrakh dying, minor variations in colour and print might be present. Natural dyes have a tendency to lighten over time.
