Pairi Daeza, Persian for paradise garden, borrows from the blooming flower beds of the celebrated Mughal gardens that were designed in the image of heaven. A range of light festive styles, it features a palette of dusty jade, blues, teal, sepia, and rose pinks with intricate floral butahs and patterns rendered in zardozi, glittering sequins, and colourful resham (silk) threads. Traditional silhouettes – chogas, kalidars, shararas, farshis, and lehengas – evoking the romance of the Mughal court, are crafted in fine Chanderi, silk organza, and matka silk.
