Silk Road Embroidered Cushions

A range of cushions in printed and embroidered silk and velvet, inspired by the crafts and culture of the lands along the ancient Silk Route. These cushions were first created ten years ago for our Samarkand collection.The Silk Road network of trade routes followed for centuries were central to cultural interaction across Asian and Mediterranean countries. Caravans met at various caravanserais on the route to exchange merchandise, and were hubs for exchange of ideas, trade, and culture.
