First boutique at Kemps Corner

Creative, instinctive and optimistic, Anita Lal, our founder and Creative Director, set up shop in Kemps Corner with no experience or business plan. With our first boutique, Good Earth set standards for luxury retail across India

Good Earth’s wellness and skincare brand is based on the Ayurvedic principle that anything you use on your skin should be 'pure enough to eat'.

Raghuvanshi Mills Flagship

The defunct, abandoned mill, and the 20,000 square foot space we chose as our flagship originally housed craft textiles. We proudly continue that tradition.

Ayurveda wisdom recommends using Kansa utensils for its alkalising health benefits. Our Kansa collection revived a tribal artisan community in Orissa by creating long-term demand for this special bell metal alloy over the past decade.

Our kids collection Gumdrops is born of Good Earth linage, sustaining tradition and ecology are integral values of our children's brand that features characters from Indian fables on organic cotton and our famous bamboo towels.

Our wine cafe at the Raghuvanshi Mills flagship is an ideal choice for high tea while shopping, a lazy lunch with friends, wine flights after work or a relaxed supper.

The Good Earth Kettuvalam

We added our contemporary décor to the Kettuvalam to make it commercially attractive. This traditional-style houseboat is constructed by the local communities in Kerala, using time-honoured, traditional methods.

Good Earth Sustain

Our apparel label is a collection of timeless styles rooted in the textiles traditions of India.

Farah Baksh Design Journal

With the 'Farah Baksh' design collection began the tradition of creating an annual collection journal that tells a cultural story through our design eyes.

Web Boutique

The best of Good Earth from the comfort of your armchair. In 2013, we went global delivering to 40 countries through the launch of our web boutique.

We set up our first shop beyond borders in Ankara! So when wanderlust takes you to the near west, stop by for an enchanted view of India.

The Rajmahal Project

We were commissioned to style and support the interior services for the Jaipur 'Rajmahal' palace renovation. We revived and reinvented a design legacy of surface patterning to create jewel like rooms. 'Rajmahal' opened for business in 2014.

Oscars Gift Bags

The Oscars team invited us to share a gift bag with the guests at the Academy Awards and we sent them your favourite Enchanted India gifts - Periyar mugs and Design Journals.

Chai Pe Charcha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the Make In India campaign with Chancellor Angela Merkel over chai in our iconic Indus tea set at Hannover Messe, the world’s largest trade fair on industrial technology.

The fabric of India exhibition

To celebrate our 20th birthday, we partnered with the Victoria & Albert Museum to bring you The Fabric of India the first major exhibition to explore the dynamic and multifaceted world of handmade textiles from the subcontinent, from the 3rd century to the present day.

The Story Of Babur

Good Earth’s first children’s book, in collaboration with Puffin Books, is the story of Babur, the first Mughal emperor of India; an adventurer, a king, a legend.
